TCY Motors welcomes Audi enthusiasts

TCY Motors Sdn Bhd, the sole Audi dealer in Brunei, recently invited members of the VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) club to the Lambak Industrial Area showroom for a get-together and tea session.

According to the press release, the event was hosted by the Audi Sales Manager, Hambali who welcomed the members of the club and discussed various engine models and vehicle technology.

It also stated that the latest models, Audi A6 3.0 litre V6 supercharged sedan and the new generation Audi Q7 3.0 TDI Quattro SUV will be making their way to Brunei soon.

Meanwhile, TCY Motors also plans to hold its inaugural Quattro Cup amateur golf tournament later this year with the winning team to be sent to the world finals in Sardinia Italy in October.

Audi Press Launch: Audi A5 3.2 FSI Quattro Tiptronic

Audi held a press launch at The Mall to show the new sporty Audi A5 Coupe with its award winning design. It was released to the market late August this year and can already be seen on the road and it is also one of the fastest selling models for T.C.Y. Motors this year.

The price of the Audi A5 3.2 Auto FSI Quattro Tiptronic is at B$99,450.

The Audi A5 is one of the example to show the Audi clear pledge to performance in technology and design and accepts its own answers to the most important questions and the biggest challenges in car manufacturing.



With the Audi A5, Audi projects the brand claim into a new market segment and paves the way for an entirely new driving experience. Precision and agility, together with exceptional performance on the road, determine its expressive formal language and overall harmony of its character. As a sports coupe of strong character in a new market segment, the design of the Audi A5 interprets sporty elegance in a new way. Short body overhangs together with the long wheelbase; long bonnet and large alloy wheels represent a clear pledge to performance and confirm its sporty credentials. The Audi A5 is also equipped with 5-link front suspension for sporty precise steering response and also the 19" Allow Wheels wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport. Electronic stabilization program (ESP): networks ABS, EBD, ASR and EDS using own sensors and compares actual data as the car is driven with reference data, controlled braking at individual wheels and interventions in the engine management maintain dynamic stability.

The leather covered multifunction steering wheel with full-size airbag, adjustable height and reach with controls for the navigation system and radio, speech dialogue system, mobile phone preparation or car phone and with option of shift paddles behind the steering wheel.

The Audi Drive Select buttons are neatly placed near the leather wrapped shift knob. Together with the Audi parking system plus and the Audi hold assist which keeps the car stationary on uphill and downhill gradients for an unlimited time if necessary. This allows the driver to set the car in motion smoothly without having to operate the handbrake. The Electromechanical parking brake, holds the car standstill and includes drive-off assistance and emergency braking function when on the move at all four wheels.

Surprisingly this coupe has a big luggage space with 2 latch to fold the rear seat and two concealed hooks.

3.2L V6 FSI power plant which produces 195kW/265bhp and 330Nm of torque renowned for its power and efficiency. The engine together with the 6speed quattro transmission enables to launch from 0-100km/h in 6.1 sec and a top speed of 250km/h.

Audi TT Limited Edition and Audi A3 Sportback Press Launch

Introducing: The Audi TT Limited Edition and Audi A3 Sportback Titanium Edition



Members of the local press & media were introduced to the new Audi TT coupe Limited Edition and the Titanium package for the recently launched Audi A3 Sportback. The event was held at the Arch Taurean Cafe in Gadong.










The current Audi TT coupe has been established as an iconic sports car globally for the Audi brand, in certain markets of the region (e.g. Singapore, Inodesia) the TT dominates the segment. To further enhance the brand appeal of the Audi TT, Audi introduced the TT ASEAN Limited Edition with ONLY 40 units allocated for Asean Region.

T.C.Y. Motors has brought in only 3 units of this exciting addition to its stable of premium performance vehicles.














The black & white themed Audi TT Limited Edition consists of a aerodynamic package (black), Leather Package, Extended Aluminium Look, LED Interior Lighting Package, Audi's Magnetic Ride damper suspension system and 19" aluminium black painted turbine design wheels. The TT Limited Edition uses the 4-cylinder turbocharged 2.0 FSI engine with 147kW output, 280Nm of torque with acceleration of 0-100kmph @ 6.6 seconds with a top speed of 240kmph.

















The Titanium package for the Audi A3 Sportback was also introduced during the event, this exterior cosmetic finish consist of a black front grille and gun metal or 'titanium' look wheels for a more unique look compared to the standard chrome finish.
