Happy 1st Year/Birthday: VAG Club Brunei
Before (Volkswagen-Audi Group) VAG Club Brunei was founded, a fellow enthusiast was trying to figure out how to fix and mod his car - It was a Seat Toledo. It took somewhat a pressure to learn alot of stuff, and countless articles and threads over the Internet Automotive Forums namely: Fourtitude.com/VWVortex.com/Audi-sport.net/Seatcupra.net, and etc.
It took two years to get to the level where somehow, the line: "I know the car quite a bit" for now (Deliberately, knowing from zero that is!). After much experiences in modding, (Volkswagen-Audi Group) VAG Club Brunei was created, for people in the community, who are interested in reinventing their cars creatively, through performance and detailing.
On that day itself, (Volkswagen-Audi Group) VAG Club Brunei - the blog, was created. As stated, the club is open to anyone, and everyone who wants to join the club, and those having either a Volkswagen, Audi and Seat car(s), to name a few.
That was when, the first few members came to sign up. Initially, the club was founded through the worldwide web; Somehow seeps into the Asian Regional forum in Golfmk5.com. Bob Sufrizal first founded out about the club site. More people signed up namely Yusri and Kartika. After much deliberation, the first ever (Volkswagen-Audi Group) VAG GTG meet was decided in June, 2009 at Indoor Stadium Parking Lot, Berakas. To much of the club's own surprise, Khairi from Bruneicarzine.com came out to see the club to get to know the club better.

There have been 2 weddings which were officially invited:
(Shamsu's Wedding)

(Fad's Wedding)

Not forgetting the 2009 Hari Raya Celebration with the VAG Club Family Members/Friends:
(Zali's House)

(Doc Rizal's House)

(Fauzan/Khairul's House)

4 invited events:
(Launching of the new Golf Mk.6) - By Maju Motors Sdn Bhd

(Audi Press Launch: Audi A5 3.2 FSI Quattro Tiptronic - By T.C.Y. Motors Sdn. Bhd.)

(Press Launch: Audi TT Limited Edition and Audi A3 Sportback Titanium Edition - By T.C.Y Motors Sdn. Bhd.)
(T.C.Y. High-tea invitation for VAG Enthusiasts - By T.C.Y Motors Sdn. Bhd.)

And, somewhat endless GTG's, Gatherings and Photoshoots. (Be it official or not):

The one gathering that stood out the most was definitely in July 2009, where there was a gathering set out for local car clubs, the likes of Brunei Compact Tuners, Gen-2 Club Brunei, Wangan-Drift and Swift Club Brunei. This gathering marked (Volkswagen-Audi Group) VAG Club Brunei's first public appearance as a car enthusiast club, to the rest of the local car community.

It has been a very fulfilling year to get to know every single one of the members, from all different walks of life. From what was initially just 5 members, grew to become a huge family of 30+ members!

Thank you for your continuous support in (Volkswagen-Audi Group) VAG Club Brunei, and hope to see more new members joining the club, in the near future.
Once again, thank you all for your contribution. Your enthusiasm is what drives the life of the club!
